We can come to your school to run a weekly drama club, either during, or after school hours.
The children have fun learning performance techniques and develop creativity, confidence and collaborative skills.

Through drama we explore a topic from the history syllabus (e.g. Tudors, Victorians). Alternatively we can explore a particular book or author.

How drama supports the history curriculum

  • We communicate our knowledge of history through speaking and acting.
  • We act like people from now and the past, to explore similarities and differences.
  • We explore historical figures in depth.
  • We bring historical events to life by re-enacting them ourselves.
  • Chronology: we learn how to make up stories with a clear beginning, middle and end.
  •  We look at how the past is represented through plays, films, tv and books.
  • We can make props and costumes.
  • We can share our knowledge by performing.

Further information

Please contact us with further enquiries, we are happy to discuss your requirements.

You may wish to consider having us work on a particular topic for half a term or a term with a class.

Alternatively, we can run a permanent club at your school and each year group alternate each half-term, (potentially allowing the whole school to have the opportunity to explore their history curriculum through drama).

We can also lead the children in putting on a show, or an assembly.
